Hello everyone! TGIF am I right? Yes. I am. This week for me has been pretty easy, considering I'm just reviewing what we've talked a bout all year. I can't even begin to tell you what a fantastic year this has been. Here's the top 5 events
1) I graduated from college this year! May 2012, I graduated from William Jessup university with a bachelors degree in music.
2) Nathan got hired full-time at our church and he works with your youth department
3) I got hired by Vacaville Christian high school to conduct their choir, teach bible, and also teach drama. I love love love it. I couldn't have prayed for a more wonderful position!
4) Kingdom Band was signed to Dream Records, so that's really super exciting!
5) as a graduation gift, my parents took us all to Disneyland... And we ate at club 33! It was amazing!
All of these things are all to the glory to God. Every single one of these great things is because of the fact that we obeyed The Lord.

It's the hap- happiest season of all

Hello everyone. Two days in a row! Go me! I can't believe that there was a time when I found time to do this every day!! Crazy! Anyways, today was our last Christmas performance for choir, I'm so proud of my students. I have been cracking the whip for the past 3 months, and they have worked so hard. Go them!

Anyways, this is what I wore to school today. Usually when we have a performance, I wear all-black. However, all my black clothes were dirty, so I wore whatever what I wanted. I didn't mean to look so Christmas-y, but hey! It's christmastime!

Hello everyone. Okay okay okay, you're right, I've neglected this blog. For that I truly apologize. I'm really hoping that for winter break, I'll be be able to update it. But here are a few pictures to let you know what's been going on this crazy teacher life of mine! Right now were preparing for our final exams, and it s dead week, so no homework or new material, its alllll review! Yay! Time to breathe!
1) World Series! We won! Yes, it truly has been that long. Sad.

3) I was Minnie Mouse for Halloween of course. What did you think I would be!
4) and then we went to Disneyland!!! More on that later
5) I got a chance to babysit. I love the Ruscica's and their new dog, chuck!
6) the choir and drama kids have been slaving away, very hard at work as you can see
7) and of course... The coffee. Tons and tons of coffee.

Saturday is coming... And so is Monday

Hi everyone! Ive finally found an app thats way better for blogging than the blogger app itself. I have to honest, since its for the iphone and not the ipad, which i dont really understand why they wouldnt make a version for both, the blogger app is dumb. You can only update your own blog with it, you can't read the ones you follow. Dumb.

Anyways, today is parent teacher conferences. They have all gone really well. Its hard to have a bad conference when most of your students are doing well in your class. One of million wonderful things about teaching at VCS are super nice and loving parents. One parent emailed me this morning for drink order at starbucks! If thats not awesome then i dont know what is. Im just hoping the rest of the day goes just as well.

I found this gem of a boxed-set at dimple. Cant wait to start reading them. This are the old school covers from when i was a kid. This is the kind of thing you hold on to for your kids to read. I am in love with this.

I havent ventured around Vacaville much at all since i started working at VCS but i found this super cute dress at a really cute boutique called apricot lane.

Also, in case you didnt know. We are all moved in. Our new place rocks. Our neighbors are nice, they dont grow pot, and the police havent shown up to ask nathan if he was able to identify a picture of an armed robber. Its a real winner. Im now on the hunt for sweet decor items and such. I know that go get exactly what i want im gonna have to make it myself. Yay weekend crafty time! Also, our disneyland trip is officially booked! Ahhhhhhhhim so excited. Im already on the lookout for cute disney outfits.

You don't have TV?

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a great day! I am. I am finding that thursday is actually the day i am the most tried. Even more than fridays. So... Needless to say, i am really tired.

Anyways, i dont know if I've ever mentioned how much nathan and i hated our old apartment, but today we are moving away!! And while im really super excited about our move, its extremely stressful. Nathan has to do most of it himself, so i feel terrible about that, but we do have WONDERFUL friends who will be able to help us tomorrow.

This is what is decided to wear today. Im totally obsessed with tops that have little neckties right now. Theres something very cutesy about them that i cant resist! If neckties are wrong, then i dont want to be right. Also, im loving the fluted skirt trend. So hirly, and flattering on us more womanly women!!

I also feel the need to mention that i found everything that im wearing at the goodwill. Gosh, i love love love the goodwill that i go to. But i cant tell which one it is.... Its a secret!

Life is so full

Oh hello people of the blogosphere! It's been wayyyy too long since I actually posted a normal post, but hey, when you have a big-girl job, things gets a little crazy! In fact I am currently blogging from church because I'm waiting for Nathan to get done with worship practice!

I would like point out that in one of these pictures, nathan is rocking the sock bun. He is such patient man. But let's get real here, if you're gonna have hair as glorious Nathan's, you have to live with the fact that people will want to play with it.

Workin' for the weekend

Hi everyone!! Just a few instas for you!! Life has been nuts!! The funny thing about teaching is... They say that the beginning of the year is really crazy, but then the year starts... It just gets crazier! I liken it to a train, once it's starts to speed up there's no slowin g it down.

The only difference between a speeding train and teaching high school students is that... You really super love the people you work with at school! Have I reminded you of how much I love my work?

Hello everyone!! Blogging again from my iPad today. Im currently at alliance redwood conference center on retreat with vcs!! It been amazing. It's crazy to think about what I do for a living. I am a teacher who gets to talk openly about Jesus, and not only that, but I get to pray for the young ladies who attend here. There is very little I have done in my life that has been more rewarding than get to tell the girls in my cabin that they can't possibly earn grace, that Jesus gives it freely, and the second they receive that grace, they are children of god, members of the body of Christ! Not to mention the rumors of the precious girls in choir singing our choir songs around camp!!! They're even singing David's Lamentation!! Look it up. It's not exactly your fun camp song.
