I Invented the "It's not you, It's me"!

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday to you all! I hope this week has treated you well! It's been a fun one for me, just taking myself for walks all over beautiful downtown Napa.

Have you ever worn something you just didn't feel like you should wear? Today, thats me. There really isn't anything iniherantly wrong with what i'm wearing, or that I'm not pulling this top off, but you know, I just gotta face it. I don't think the boho look is really for me. I'm all about free-spiritedness, but, I think my deal is more retro/vintage/novelty. I call it, Sound of Music goes down town. It's just the truth. There is a moment in season 1 of New Girl where Jess let's one of Nick's girlfriends have it for making fun of the "thing she's got going on", and I feel like Jess just stole the words out of my heart and screamed them on TV.  Just because you like cute stuff and wear tons of color and polka dots, doesn't mean you're not strong.

Just because I'm not a bohemian hippy goddess doens't make me less... anything, it's just not me. Now a frilly shoulder calico top that looked like it might have belonged to little girl running on the prarie, and watermelon shaped purse? Thats me.

Hello everyone! Happy Friday! What a week of craziness! In the course of this week I have been slaving away over my senior recital, I have a 20th century American art piece that is so tough, but I'm gonna master it if its the last thing I do! Not to mention the bajillion Disney songs I'm trying to memorize before April. Wow, what a tough life.

This is what I decided to wear today. This top kind of reminds of me those prom dresses from the late 80's wearly 90's that Laura Winslow would wear. I think it's because of the trim around the bottom. But hey, I can't get enough of the beautious laciness of it.

 To answer your question, Yes. Those are Russian Nesting Dolls!! I'm slightly obsessed with nick-nacks from other countries. If you were to enter my apartment, you would see that I have quite the collection of Russian nesting dolls, and Cerdito piggy banks from Mexico. Also, I love the country of Mexico in general. If the Lord ever called me to full-time Mission work in Mexico, I would probably go, and I would apply to work at Rancho Sordo Mudo. Ironically the village where the ranch is at, has a strong Russian history...

 PS. I made this skirt. Also, I'm fully aware of the extreme lack of pigment in my skin. I'm white, and I never tan. I've come to accept this fact, after 4 years of high school trying desperately to get tan, and only getting extremely sunburnt...

They Can't Play in the Rock Quarry, There's Rocks Down There!

Hello Everyone! It's thursday! The even of the weekend. I can say as for myself, this has been a really great week! Senior Recital well on its way, Packages from my shop shipped (say that three times fast!), and I got the retail job of my dreams at Freestyle (thanks for your prayers and well wishes everyone), Hooray! AND also, the Muppets is in the cheap theatre!! I have to say, I can't get enough of 'em! I'm gonna make my husband take me:)

ANYWAYS! Hat people of this world: welcome me to your ranks. I have found, not one, but two hats that I absolutely love!  Now I'm on the hunt for more. This is what I decided to wear today. This green dress has got to be one of the most versatile things have ever owned. It's gonna go a long way for me I think.

 This dress could seriously fit any sized human being. It's so roomy. Also, it's completely sheer, so underneath this dress is the AA blue racer back tank dress. Otherwise this dress would cause quite the scandal!

Good morning everyone!! It's been such a long time since I've posted anything. For that I do apologize. I've really missed blogging away. I'm done with school for this year, and so the summer (which happens to be my favoritist time of year school or no school), is going to be over-flowing with fashion filled adventures and wonderment. Okay so, this summer is actually going to be filled with me being a nanny for a totally cool family, and me making every effort to not lose touch with my school pals over the summer. The choir is going on tour tomorrow until thursday, and I am soooo glad because, I am really missing my friends. I'm such a social little woman...
